Uttaranchal University is a State Private university established by the Government of Uttarakhand and approverd by UGC. Uttaranchal University is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand near the IMA. For the academic year 2017, The Uttaranchal University is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for admission into Undergraduate B.Tech, B.Pharma Programmes.

Courses Offered:

• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Petroleum Engineering
• B.Sc. Agriculture - 4 Years

Eligibility:

• 10+ 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Math (PCM)
• Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category)
• For B.Sc Agriculture: 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM or equivalent. Minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category).

Application Procedure:

Application Fee: Rs.1250/-

• Applicants can apply both Online and as well as Offline

Admission Procedure:

• Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination and rank/merit in JEE-Main.
• Out of total intake 40% seats are allotted to students of Uttarakhand state under state quota and rest are open to students from all over India
• Uttarakhand domicile students would be granted 26% rebate in tuition Fees.

Scholarships Offered:

1. Special Scholarships for B.Tech. Students ONLY based on the marks secured in 10+2 of all recognized boards:
   • 100% waiver of tuition fee for topper of all Boards.
   • 60% waiver of tuition fee for securing 95% and above marks in Mathematics and Physics.
   • 30% waiver of tuition fee for securing 90% - 94% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
   • Rupees 25,000/- waiver of tuition fee for securing 71% - 89%
   • Rupees 20,000/- waiver of tuition fee for securing 60% - 70% marks.
2. Scholarships for Uttarakhand Domicile in all courses
   • All the students who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand will be granted 26% waiver on tuition fee every year.
3. Uttaranchal University also provides 10% fee concession on tuition fee for the students who have completed graduation from Uttaranchal University and opting for a PG course.
4. Scholarships for SC/ST and OBC categories

   The students belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories are eligible for freeships/scholarships prescribed by the State Govt. on the basis of the gross income of their parents/family on furnishing the required documents like caste certificate, income certificate etc., issued by the competent authority.
