Manipal Academy of Higher Education, is a deemed university located in Manipal, Karnataka, India. The University has off-campuses in Mangalore and Bangalore, and off-shore campuses in Dubai(UAE) and Melaka (Malaysia).

Manipal inviting applications from all over World from the eligible candidates for admissions into its Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), BTech lateral entry, Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Executive Master of Architecture (MArch) in various specialisations for the academic year 2017 through MU OET 2017.

MIT offers 16 programs of study at the B.Tech level.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subjects as optional; with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics and Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
• BArch: The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the NATA score conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA).

Admission Procedure:

• General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017.
• Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Fee: INR 2000/- (600-Application Fee + 1400-Exam Fee)

Entrance Test Pattern:

Entrance Test Type: Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017.

Test Syllabus: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General English include questions based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards /Universities.

Test Pattern: Group 2: (Applicable to BTech/BPharm/PharmD courses) Duration-2.30 hours, Questions-200 (MCQ). The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:

Test Date: The MU-OET will be held between11.04.2017 and 21.05.2017.Candidates can select the test schedule of their choice in the Online Test Booking System

Scholarship:

Candidates selected for BTech course with a rank between 1 and 1000 of the respective merit lists are offered merit-cum-means scholarship. The scholarship amount shall be determined based on the parent's annual income (from all sources) as mentioned below:
