B.Tech-Admissions

VTUEEE 2017 is an All India Common Entrance Scholarship Eligibility Test conducted by Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University for four year B.Tech. Degree Programmes of the University.

VTUEEE 2017 is going to be done in
COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) and PAPER & PENCIL TEST (PPT).

B.Tech Regular

Pass in 10+2, or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

B.Tech Lateral Entry

The Lateral Entry program enables candidates with a 3 years diploma in engineering or an equivalent degree to get admitted directly to 2nd Year (3rd semester).

  • Candidate can send in a Demand draft for Rs.950/- drawn in favour of "Veltech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University", payable at Chennai, to The Director - UG Admission along with a requisition letter containing the full address of the applicant.

Candidate can take admission by coming in person to the university admission office or authorized regional offices.Candidate will have to satisfy eligibility norms and will be allotted seat subject to availability.

Scheme - A100% Scholarships(full exemption from tuition fees and free board and lodging for four years) for Top Ranking Candidates admitted to B.Tech. from each State and each Union Territory.
Scheme - Btop 50 Candidates admitted to B.Tech across the Nation. Only those who have secured 95% to 100% in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in +2 examinations in their respective State / Central Higher Secondary Board Examinations are exemption from 75% of tuition fees and board and lodging for four years)
Scheme - C1top 100 Candidates admitted to B.Tech across the Nation. Only those who have secured 90% and above but below 95% in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry +2 examinations in their respective State / Central Higher Secondary Board Examinations are exemption from 50% of tuition fees and board and lodging for four years)
Scheme - Dtop 100 Candidates admitted to B.Tech across the Nation. Only those who have secured 70% and above but below 90% in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in +2 examinations in their respective State / Central Higher Secondary Board Examinations are exemption from 10% of tuition fees and board and lodging for four years)
