The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2017 examination date has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will be conducting the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2017 on May 21, 2017.
This is a national level exam which is conducted for admissions into various Bachelor's degree programmes in eighteen IITs and Indian School of Mines (ISM), along with other reputable engineering institutes. Last year it was organised by IIT Guwahati.
The HRD Ministry of India took a significant decision regarding JEE exams and decided that class 12 marks of the students will not be taken into account while admitting them to undergraduate courses of engineering. This rule will be applicable to all engineering aspirants from next academic year(2017-2018).
