What isSAAT-2019 ?
Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Deemed to be University.
The test is being conducted for different programs offered in constituent institutes / schools of the university.
SAAT-2019,will be held in both online & offline format.

Eligibility:
Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech.): Pass or appearing (in the year 2019) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics / Technical Vocational subject or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category).
Bachelor Of Computer Application (BCA): Pass or appearing (2019) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream having Mathematics.
Bachelor Of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.): Candidates shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted respective states/Central Government Authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one the subject and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and /or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B) as optional subjects individually ; and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects 'Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology taken together'.
Bachelor of science in agriculture (B.Sc.Ag.): Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2019) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories, 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories, with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination. Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2019.

Admit Cards:
Hall ticket can be downloaded from 05th April 2019 onward through candidates login / dashboard.
Exam Pattern:
Mode of Exam: Online and Offline
Online test duration is 120 min. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks. There is negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Offline test: There will be multiple choice questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each hour of examination.
Admission Procedure:
Separate merit list for all qualifying candidates shall be prepared on the basis of SAAT - 2019
Online/Offline counseling will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidate. The detailed processes and schedule will be notified after the ranks are published
Final admission: Candidates must be qualified in SAAT-2019 or any equivalent state/national level entrance test. The institution will fill up 15% of seats in professional programmes in view of the instruction issued by the UGC (Admission to specified professional programmes 1st Amendment interim regulation, 2003). Rest of the seats will be filled up through counselling (SAAT- 2019).
Scholarships:
Separate merit lists will be drawn up for each reserved category. If eligible candidates belonging to one reserved category are not available, seats can be filled up by the candidates belonging to the general category.
