What is V-SAT ?

Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT) is a computer based online test conducted on an all India basis for admission into B.Tech./B.Pharmacy in Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Courses Offered:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1998 and a pass in above Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum B2 grade/ CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State are eligible to appear for the admission test.
• Admission to B.Tech./ B. Pharm programmes will be through Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test, V-SAT an on-line test, conducted by Vignan's Deemed to be University on all India basis.
• Candidates qualified in AP or TS EAMCET/ JEE(Mains)/ JEE(Advanced) with a minimum of B2 grade/ CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State in the +2/ Intermediate examination.

Streams for V-SAT 2019:

• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English/ Aptitude in the V-SAT 2019 are eligible for all the B.Tech./ B. Pharmacy programmes.
• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/ Aptitude in the V-SAT 2019 are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Food Technology & B. Pharmacy Programmes.

Note: Candidates appearing for qualifying examination and awaiting results can also apply.

Application Procedure:

Mode of Application: Online (or) Offline

Application Fee: Rs.1200/-

• Through Online: Candidates can apply through official website of V-SAT only. The official link for Vignan's University is given at bottom of this notification.
• Through Offline:
  • Candidates can obtain application on payment of Rs. 1200/- in person from Indian Banks - AP & Telangana or Vignan Schools or Colleges at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole and Vignan offices at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad.
  • The filled application along with the DD for Rs. 1200/- drawn in favour of Vignan University, payable at Guntur should be sent to the following address so as to reach before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.

Admit Cards & Slot Booking:

• Time : Slot 1 - 8 a.m to 10.30 a.m | Slot 2 - 11 a.m 1.30 p.m | Slot 3 - 2.30 p.m to 5 p.m
• Candidates must choose an examination centre, date and slot of their choice by using the (V-SAT)-2019 online booking system. Candidates will not be issued the e-hall ticket without booking a slot through online booking system.
• Admit card will be generated immediately after booking of your slot.

Admission Procedure:

• The admission will be on the basis of the performance in the V-SAT /EAMCET/JEE-2019.
• The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the RANK obtained in V-SAT /EAMCET/JEE-2019, provided if he/she gets minimum B2 grade / CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State in the +2 / Intermediate examination as per the eligibility criteria. Admissions will be purely on merit and by following the reservation policy applicable to Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University).
• A common merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the entrance test and eligible candidates will be called for the counseling to be held at the Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) premises at Vadlamudi, Guntur District, A.P.

Scholarships:

Scholarships offered for B.Tech. / B.Pharm.

• Preference in allotment of scholarship seats will be given to V-SAT'19 qualifed candidates.
• The scholarship is applicable for four years of study subject to maintaining a minimum of 70% of marks in the preceding year(s) without any backlogs.
• 25% of the total seats in each department are reserved for scholarships.
