ICAR UG Online Counselling Registration and choice filling schedule 2018.

• Based on the results of ICAR's 23rd All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA-UG-2018 re-examination) to Bachelor degree programmes in agriculture and allied sciences in the academic session 2018-19 candidates are likely to be recommended for admission in a University, based on the online Counselling in the subject of your choice, subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions.
• ICAR website www.icar.org.in or www.icarexam.net here Candidate can find the availability of seats at his/her merit rank, category and verification of documents by the officials of admitting University at the time of admission
• The university will place the candidates in accredited colleges only. The SC/ST candidates who do not wish to take admission in their respective reserve category may opt for counselling with General + OBC category provided they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of General category.

Candidate reporting for admission in the allotted University must have following original documents with selfattested photocopies, photographs to be produced at the time of admission in the allotted university.

• All certificates and mark sheets/grade reports, in original related to Class X and XII, Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate, Character Certificate from the School last attended.
• In case of candidates from SC, ST and non-creamy layer of OBC categories, Original Certificate as per Central Govt. requirements and issued by Competent Authority
• Medical Certificate in case of Physically Challenged (PC) candidates issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability
• In case the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate.
• e- Admit Card, hard copy of Online application Form and letter issued by the ICAR to the candidates related to choice filling / admission
• Three recent and clear passport size color photographs with name and date same as uploaded on the Application Form.
• Domicile certificate
• Aadhaar card or 28 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID copy or any other valid Govt. Identity proof.

The exact title/nomenclature of the degree programme might vary from one university to another. The candidateis advised to enquire about the nomenclature of degree programme and other details from the Registrar of the concerned university [for contact details, please refer Annexure-VIII of the AIEEA-UG-2018 IB]before registering for online counselling/seeking admission

National Talent Scholarship (NTS UG) would be granted only when the candidate seeks admission after counselling and pursues UG degree programme in an AUlocated outside his/her domicile state.The award of National Talent Scholarship (NTS UG) shall be governed by the rules and regulations/guidelines issued by the Council and as amended from time to time

** NOTE: It may be noted that ICAR/University will NOT be held responsible for denial of admission to noneligible or late reporting candidates due to any reasons

Schedule for online counselling:

Registration Fee: Rs.2000/-

• The candidate may please note that the online counselling portal will be available for registration, choice filling and saving the choices from 10.09.2018 to 13.09.2018.
• Before exercising the option of choice filling, the candidate will have to get registere.The candidate must lock the choices on or INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH KRISHI ANUSANDHAN BHAWAN-II, PUSA, NEW DELHI - 110 012 before the deadline. If the candidate fails to lock the choices on or before the deadline, contents of the form as provided by the candidate on the portal will get locked automatically after the deadline.

Note:- Scholarship / fellowship allocation will be done after three days from closing of Last Date of reporting of last round.

• Registrars of all the concerned accredited Universities have been intimated regarding the Online Counselling and granting admission. Your original certificates may be required to be deposited with the Registrar. In case of late reporting by the candidate for admission in the allotted university due to any reason(s), he/she will lose claim for admission and no correspondence shall be entertained by the Council in this regard.
• No claim or compensation for problems (if any) encountered or cost incurred in counselling/admission will be entertained by the ICAR/ Universities
• Ragging in the Universities, in any form, is a criminal offence and has been strictly banned. Please note that this letter is for information to call the candidates for Counselling and does not, in any way, guarantee the admission.

Procedure / Major steps in Online Counselling:

• Candidate has to pay one-time registration fee (Rs 2000) through Online payment gateway.
• Candidate should select his/her preferred course and University from drop down menu.
• On the date of allotment, candidate's choices, his / her merit, score, qualification, domicile, last University in which studied and seat matrix will be processed together and seat will be allotted. Reservation rules will be followed.
• Downloading of provisional allotment letter containing the Course / University allotted and the dates on which he / she has to visit the allotted University with all necessary documents. Candidate will also be sent this intimation through SMS and email.
• On visiting the allotted University, candidate has to produce all relevant original documents to the University officials. They will verify the documents. Then candidate has to pay the admission fee in cash. Then University officials will generate provisional admission letter.
• Some candidates will be allotted their 2nd, 3rd or higher choice. On the other hand, some seats allotted to other candidates may remain vacant due to non-reporting. Now these candidates may desire that in the subsequent rounds of allotment, they should be shifted to their better choice, if seat(s) have become vacant.
• Such candidates should request the University officials to online mark them for "Auto-Upgradation" However they have to first take admission on their allotted seat. In the subsequent round of allotment, these candidates will be tried for their better choices on these vacant seats which have become vacant due to not reporting. If they get a better choice, then OK otherwise their initial allotted seat will remain with them. Auto-Upgradation is permitted only in the first round. University may refuse admission if listed documents are not found in order.
• University at a later stage will allot any accredited college to the candidate, on their own discretion. And it does not come under scope of this counselling.
• University will online report about the admission status of each candidate, individually. Seats remaining vacant will form the seat matrix for subsequent rounds.
• Subsequent round of allotment will be conducted on candidates who did not get any seat in the earlier round. But choices will remain same as filled in the beginning.
