What is V-SAT ?

• Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT)-2018 is a computer based online test conducted on an all India basis for admission into B.Tech./B.Pharmacy in Vignan's University at its Vadlamudi, Guntur Campus, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Courses Offered:

Eligibility:

• Candidates born on or after 1st July ,1997 and a pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks are eligible to appear for the admission test.
• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2018 are eligible for all the B.Tech./B.Pharmacy programmes.
• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2018 are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Food Technology & B.Pharmacy Programmes.

Application Fee: Rs.1200/-

• Through Online: Candidates can apply through official website of V-SAT only. The official link for application registration is given at bottom of this notification.
• Through Offline:
  • Candidates can obtain application on payment of Rs. 1200/- in person from Indian Banks - AP & Telangana or Vignan Schools or Colleges at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole and Vignan offices at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad.
  • The filled application along with the DD for Rs. 1200/- drawn in favour of Vignan University, payable at Guntur should be sent to the following address so as to reach before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.

Admit Cards & Slot Booking:

• Candidates must choose an examination centre, date and slot of their choice by using the (V-SAT)-2018 online booking system. Candidates will not be issued the e-hall ticket without booking a slot through online booking system
• Admit card will be generated immediately after booking of your slot

Admission Procedure:

• The admission will be on the basis of the performance in the V-SAT /EAMCET/JEE-2018.
• The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the RANK obtained in V-SAT /EAMCET/JEE-2018
• A common merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the entrance test and they will be called for the counseling to be held at the Vigna's University premises at Vadlamudi, Guntur District through common ranking.

Scholarships:

• This scheme is called "Scheme of Merit Scholarships to the students of Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research University", The object of this scheme is to encourage meritorious students ranging from full fee waiver/50% fee waiver and 25% fee waiver basing on the merit criteria.
